Chef Louis DiBiccari (Tavern Road) founded CREATE in 2012. Inspired by his culinary experience and personal ties to the Boston art scene, he aimed to foster collaboration and a sense of community among creative professionals in the city. The event started with six chefs collaborating to create a dish inspired by the work of six local artists. We then added bartenders to the mix so each station would include a dish and a drink inspired by the artwork. Finally, we brought musicians and local makers into the fold to truly bring the event full circle.
It’s an ever-evolving labor of love produced by a core team of passionate people in the city of Boston. Our goal with CREATE is for you to experience art with all of your senses, try new things, and leave with a greater appreciation of the rich culture our city offers.
